Thread: How to set up "THOMSON SPEEDTOUCH Modem with AirTel , Pls Help

Hi,
I have Airtel ISP and trying to configure the "THOMSON SPEEDTOUCH modem which i got from Australia. Unable to do.

tried
Broadband connection and under that go for Internet Services now click View More and enter your username and password, press connect still not working.

Need your help to fix the issue.

well its tough to provide the exact steps for your modem. but basically you login to your router http://192.168.1.1 .. go to the WAN page(maybe called INTERNET also).. there edit your vpi/vci value to 1/32 or look for 1/32 vpi/vci .. then set it to ppoe mode.. you could refer to ths following tutorial.. steps are similar .. Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: How To setup PPOE mode (Automatic Dialing) in UT300R2U,WA3002G4 .. vpi/vci 0/35 used here ( for bsnl) but you need to use 1/32( for airtel)
