    BSNL has decided to offer following commercial tariff for 350 Mbps and STM 4 MPLS VPN bandwidth for potential customers with immediate effect:

    1. All charges are exclusive of Service Tax, which will be charged extra, as per applicable rates.

    The charges for 15 years (on IRU basis) will be payable in advance and O&M charges shall be applicable annually.

    However, no O&M charges are separately payable on one year tariff.

    2. For IPTV Franchisees, 50% discount will be applicable on the above tariff.

    No discount shall be applicable on O&M charges.

    3. All other terms and conditions will remain the same

    I think these tariff is not for Broadband. These are known as leasedline, I think. As One day I have downloaded a file of 29MB in just 3 sec. on a leased line

    this is for VPN = Virtual Private Network . For corporate use

    Its such a rip off Those prices are way too high. You cant even set up a small data centre with that much bandwidth.

    The box this site is hosted on has a 100Mbps uplink and we have a 2500 GB limit every month and if you try and get the same deal here in India from Bsnl or Reliance they charge more then Rs 125000 per month just for the connection and the equipment would cost another 4.5 lakhs and has to be paid for by the customer and any maintainence on top.

    Indian isp market needs to grow up a bit and get competitive to stand anywhere in the world. Data centers are are distant dream as of now with the amount of money these isps charge.

    Hi,

    Can u find the latest pricing for STM 4. Also, what is the Gold , Silver and Bronze and Best Effort pricing... What is the difference ??

    Gold = 100% bandwidth guaranteed
    Silver = 50% bandwidth guaranteed
    Best Effort = 25% bandwidth guaranteed
