Thread: Router configuration - Please help

I have a UT300R2U router. I recently restored the default settings for it. But after that, I could not connect to BSNL Broadband. So I used the CD supplied by BSNL. I followed the procedures and in the page requesting details, I supplied my user ID, password and phone number correctly. Regarding the subscriber number and subscriber circle, I entered the values found in my bill. My customer number had 15 digits and my circle had 5 letters. After I finished the wizard, I could successfully connect to BSNL and surf the internet . When it asked for registration, I pressed cancel because I think my connection was registered by the officer during the initial installation. What I want to know now is whether I did anything wrong or whether there would be any complications arising due to this? Thanks in advance for your help

The CD you are referring is for automatic provision of multiplay customers.

Now the user-id and password is being configured in the modem by our staff and given to the customers. But we are planning to go for automation in

which the user just need to run the CD and provide minimum details so that his user-id, password etc.. are automatically configured in the modem.

For this, the server is not yet commissioned.

After commissioning the server, we shall intimate further details as even the information to be given might be different from what is being showed now please
