Unhappy ITI DNA-A211-1 - How to configure PPPoE?

    Hey guys,

Could anyone tell me how to configure PPPoE in ITI BSNL ADSL2+ Router?

I have recently changed my modem from HUAWEI to the present ITI. While using HUAWEI i used to connect to the internet using username/password provided by BSNL. But now i dont require any u/p to connect. By switching on the modem i'm getting connected. So is there any mechanism to revert back to the old username/password based authentication.

Now i have to manually switch on the modem at 2AM inorder to download files...

    pls help me guys...

    neo

Means you are in "Always On " PPPoE mode.
Your UserID ( without @ bsnl .in and password
    entered in WAN Page ).

Now you need a Dialer mode using the Wan Mini Port.
You have to enter your USERID amd PW to connect externally.

Access 192.168.1.1 admin admin or ( password)
    Advanced Options.
    Open WAN Page.

    Uncheck PPP/PPPoE
    Check " Bridged"
    Save and reboot.

Should I need to edit the first entry in the screen shot?
In which page should I check "Bridged" and Click Save and Reboot.
    Please clarify.

Your BSNL connection is VPI/VCI 0_35.
( Ignore rest of the entries in this WAN page)
    Select/click EDIT

    Next page select "Bridged"

Save and Reboot. ( wait for 2 or three minutes)

You said you were using a dialer earlier.
Enter BSNL userID and PW, in the dialer
    to connect.

    Start/All Programs/Accessories/Communications/ Network
Connection Wizard. follow instructions to make a dialer.

the problem is fixed by assigning an IP address for the computer.....
i.e changed the option "Obtain an IP address automatically" to "Use the following IP address" and assigned the IP 192.168.1.2.
