I uses MTNL phone at my home(at mumbai) I want to get BSNL broadband net connection at my home...Do I need to have BSNL phone in order to get BSNL net?

I don't think you will get BSNL connection at your home if you are staying within Mumbai limits. MTNL connection you have to take.
