Sorry! It's no use then. You need to change to Bridge mode.

    BTW. What's your modem name/model ?

    Cool

If the BSNL server starts logging at say 2:05 am .. then you can download till 8:05 ... if it starts at 2:25 then till 8:25 ...
The interval between 2 successive logs is 30 mins .... so at max you can download till 8:29 ... provided your connection starts/re-starts at 2:29 .. or 5:29 or 6:59 ....
They actually bill you for the additional usage ... even if it was for 2 mins ...
I start at 2:05 am and download till 8:00 am ...

In your case ... you will be billed for the extra 25 mins as you started the connection at 5:00 am ...

Yes If you connect at 7:55 AM you can download till 8:25 AM also generally it will never charge but no guarantee any day you can be charge also.
Just remember never login 6 hour continuously if you connect at 2:01 AM then try to disconnect in between 7:45-7:55AM and then reconnect again(within 7:59AM)

There are so many "dal me kaala" loopholes with BSNL... but don't take risks otherwise they can make you "Kali Dal".

LOL. There is no "daal me kaala". BSNL provides free download from 2 AM to 8 AM. They give another 15/20 minutes free beyond 8 AM but that is their indulgence and not a waiver. But do not try to cash in on those extra minutes else you are fishing for trouble.

for home 500 plan, u have download/upload lime of 1.5 GB, so if u have downloaded 4 GB, u will be getting a bill somewhat like this,

2.5*1024*.80(i think it is .80 per MB in this plan)+500(plan monthly rental)+ur fixed landline calls.

if u have not used ur landline phone much, then u'll be getting a bill around Rs. 2700.

Sometimes usage is not considered till 8.25 AM, it is true, but sometimes they may charge u till 2.25 AM, if u ver using ur connection before 2 AM n have not disconnected after 2 and continue using it(it happened to me once).

That's ok but you made a mistake Home 500 usage limit is 2.5 GB I think you try to mention Home 500c plan.

hey pra dont worry yar the size is 4gb means the max download speed will be 50kbps so in tat 25 min it can download early 50 mb so no need to worry abt tat .....u can use scheduler in utorrent...go to options ..select preference and select the timing by enabling the scheduler and keep ur pc's time slow fr 10 mins so tat i can stop downloading at 7.50am
