When the bell rings, you will probably be the first to hear.![]()
I am not too much concerned about not having a 1 mbps plan. I would be interested in knowing - for how much? The UL512 plan @ Rs. 1350 is costly as it is. 1 mbps UL will be at least Rs. 2000 (airtel is charging Rs. 2499 I think).

Nah, Airtel is charging 2222 and reliance even too 2160 (app) and BSNL recently announced 500UL @256 kbps instead of 750 for six months for those who applied within 15 nov and 12 feb and introduction of 3G spectrum . This is the signal of announcement of 1 mbps UL @ rs 1200-1500 in april 2009 and many exciting plans. This is 50-50 probability.![]()
bsnl shud announce 2mb ul too ,if they want to lead the internet market
more players shud come in to internet market, the huge competition will be big benefit for customers
remeber dth, there r now so many players and dth has become cheaper and affordable
But No. of TV viewers are more than Broadband users because currently the no. of BB users are only 3% of population while in case of TV viewers using DTH are 25% or more). So 2 mbps UL Home maybe introduced after 1 yr since no private players launched 2 mbps UL home.
The above are just my thoughts based on current knowledge and situation. If i am wrong please correct it by posting again.
BSNL is nothing but enjoying bribing money of pvt players. I hope the next BJP govt will understand us people using BB.
Actually BJP went out of its way to promote Airtel and Reliance and supressing BSNL in CAPEX expenditure.
that would take a while..april maybe..
Well, it was more Pramod Mahajan than BJP. He was in Ambani's pay probably. I heard this tale from a BSNL DM. He said that they were not allowed any capex. They could not purchase equipment or cables. They could only dig when cables were damaged.
During that time Reliance was laying fibre optic cables all over the country.
its gvernement duty to spread internet awarness all over the country
internet is more powerful media than tv
bsnl covers all the regions in india,i mean the telephone network is huge and covers even the rural areas
they shud make the personal computers cheaper and afforable
Hope comes soon...
i thing the ex telcom minister maran know n have wide knowledge about internet n all..now this minister is bz with making money i think he is not showing any intrst towards new plans offers ...every thing has been stucked ..
We are discussing all the think. But till now we did not get any response from BSNL.Ok.Hope for the best but be prepare for the worst.
This is a discussion on when BSNL will introduce 1 mbps UL home plan ? within the BSNL broadband forums, part of the DSL Broadband Service Providers category; please tell me if u heard above plan from any reliable source ? All the private players(airtel , tata and ...
Angel Investors, and Series A stock deals. Founders' Stock and VCs, Due Diligence and B stock. Terms Sheets and Preferences all tied up in legalese, These are a few of our favorite things. But what does it all mean? The definitions are often more confusing than the terms themselves.
First let's put them in some vaguely chronological order: Founders' stock, Angel Investors, VCs, Term Sheets, Due Diligence, Preferences, Series A, Series B.
