Red face Dlink DIR 300 with Atrie ADSL modem

i can not connect to internet using wireless router.
when i connect to modem directly using my cable i can connect to it by using a dialer

now i have 4 systems at my place. so i thought it would be good to use a wireless router. i bought DIR 300. i can not use it from the first day.

i configured the router by going to 192.168.0.1 and using username and pass admin admin. i configure PPPoE account also by manually configuring the dialer. and then i enabled DHCP. router shows i an connected to internet and IP is also given to PC.

but i can not surf internet and can not excess other computers. moreover if i enable security i can not connect wireless devices also but entering the same password. can any one help.

1.PPPoE means "Always On" . Change to this.
Are you on Dialer mode ?
    2.In all computers TCP/IP properties
    select Obtain IP address automatically.

    3. Modem probably DB108.

Yes its "always on" (standard settting) and it automatically dials, the router shows me that it is connected/online to internet. if i put wrong username or pass it shows not connected/offline.
there is no problem with the ADSL modem as the same configuration is working fine at my firiends house. but there the administrator has put pass on router so i can not see its setting. there is no pass on modem so i was able to copy that.

    Thanks for the reply

so you mean , you dont use a dialer in windows xp to connect to the internet?? internet works as soon as you switch on your modem??
