    hey I also use the same plan,
    my download max is 205kB/sec which is quite rare to see.
    normally it ranges between 150-18kB/sec:gunsmilie:
    I think u are quite lucky.
    Sometimes I get only 40 or 50kB/sec

    The actual max speed of your plan is 244 kBytes/s , but you may sometimes get higher speeds depending n/w usage at that time.

    there is a difference between kbps and kb/s .. 2mbps = 2048kbps = 256kb/s

    the diff is not between kbps and kb/s, its between kbps(kb/s) and kBps(kB/s).

    Are you inventing something new ?

    '/' stands for per .... for example 256 kb/s stands for 256kilo bits per second

    so 256kbps = 256kb/s

    But 256 kbps = 32 kBps

    where kBps = kilo Bytes per second
    and kbps = kilo bits Per second

    1 Byte = 8 bits

    so 256kbps => 256/8 kBps = 32kBps

    1mb = 1024 kb

    so 2mbps = 2*1024kbps = 2048/8 kBps = 256 kBps

    Note : capital B stands for Bytes and lower case b stands for bits

    it gets limited because you are paying for this much speed only
    We don't know how to break it and we really don't discuss any network hacks or cracks here so i request you not to ask such things.

    Thanks for nice explanation ShAdOwCoN
