Thread: Unable to access 192.168.1.1 ?

Hello All,

Please help me.. I m unable to access the 192.168.1.1 with user name= admin and password is same.. getting error like this: Authorization Required
Browser not authentication-capable or authentication failed. i have tried many times but not able to access..

Actaully i have four system and i using internet on sharing mode have to be one system on server but i don't want to be one system on server..

Please first clear my some doubts.. should i connect internet when browsing 192.168.1.1. By IE7 i have IE7... or don't connect to BB.. i want to configure my modem UT300R2U to access internet...

Reset your modem by push the reset button in modem

Not at all necessary.

By IE7 i have IE7... or don't connect to BB..

it looks like somebody has changed your default username and password..reset your router and configure it again..and this time ensure you change the default password Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: How to Reset your modem or router

I m also thinking some has changed my default password.. Any suggestion please i have already reset my modem so times.. my model is UT300R2U your help is very appriciatte to me.. BTW internet is coming very fine.. but i have to be one system as a server for other systems which is i don't want any more to be server one system please help me out.. ASAP..

please use proper language or try hindi ( once only )

try clearing dns cache
and access using 192.168.1.2

to find out the exact ip of your modem , chk the lan connection details

Sorry for the miss-spelled due to the fast typing practice.. Can You please let me know where i can clear the DNS cache.. and how to access using 192.168.1.2 Should place this IP in lan card ? or try to browse by brwoser.. Your help will be appriciated.. Many Thanks in Advance.

in command promt " ipconfig /flushdns

try the ip in browser to access ur modem

just to confirm .. http://192.168.1.1 .. username and password - admin ..
still doesnt work inspite of resetting??
