Rep Power: 2  |  diff between usage shown by software and usage shown by BSNL usage site I would like to know how many of you sometimes or always tally the usage as shown by BSNL usage site and as shown by usage software. Do any software show more or less the same usage as shown by BSNL? I have also found that BSNL sometimes does not show some heavy usages. Is it a ruse to get money from us? Please post your comments. |

Rep Power: 2  | I have compared the usage and found more or less same.You can rely on BSNL data I guess. I am not sure about your heavy usage ponit.But Once I noticed that the BSNL server failed to record my 100 MB odd file in my account. |

| Personally I have found sometimes BSNL does not log data usage properly but you need not worry about it. coz u will be charged only according to the amount shown in the portal. And like jus4kix said the logs shown over there will lad current time by 4-12 hours. Many users use separte s/w to measure data usage on computers eg: Netmeter, Dumeter. However the data measured by them are not accurate due to the technology works, so u should depend solely on BSNL for accuracy of information  |

Rep Power: 1 | NO , I have not found any difference between what the software shows and the portal details. I use dataone quick usage finder from sunishnet. all the software does is,it logins by itself instead of me having to do it each time. |
