Thread: beetel 220BX ADSL modem

hay guys since my current ZTE 831ALL automatically disconnects my connection i was borrowed beetel 220BX ADSL modem from my friend i want to configure it but i dont know it's default username & password like admin & admin in ZTE ,can any one help me please

User ID admin Password password.Installation Process of Beetel 220BX Combo modem.
Modem settings for NIC/LAN card:
Default Ip address 192.168.1.1
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
IP address 192.168.1.x ( x= 2 to 50 (say))
DNS server
use open DNS 208.67.220.220 208.67.222.222

Log in the router page in IE:
Select WAN
1.In WAN set up choose all the WAN interfaces by checking on remove and then click on remove.
2.Click on ADD Change the VPI to 0 and VCI to 35
(* most important setting ) then click on next
3. Select PPP over Ethernet PPPoE
4. Select llc/snap-bridging click NEXT
5. In PPP username and password
( *without @ bsnl.in)
6. Enter PPPoE service as BSNL
7. Use Autnentication mode as AUTO
8. Leave other two boxes unchecked. click NEXT
9. Click NEXT again
10 Clickon SAVE on the NEXT screen
11. Clickon SAve Reboot and WAIT for approx 5 mnts.
12. Configuration is successful Happy surfing

admin password password vpi/vci 0 and 35 for BSNL
