Rep Power: 0 | Hi, I just joined after spending countless hours on the phone with the BSNL helpdesk and even getting them to come home. HISTORY I used to live at another place. I had the same BSNL modem and plan. UL700. WA1003A modem. My PC (WinXP) connected via USB, Work Laptop connected wireless. Brothers Work Laptop connected via Ethernet. All working fine. Then I moved house. It was within the same exchange so I didnt face too much problem. But ever since I moved (same ADSL phone number) I cant get any wireless signals. Nothing else has changed, except the physical location of the phone/modem. Few things that I think might help: Old house, I had IBM T43 laptop which was connecting perfectly on wireless. New house, I now have IBM T61. The T61 wireless works perfectly fine in the office. I enter manual IPs on my wireless adapter, still wont take. I have reset the modem some days ago. Still no joy at the wireless. The wired connections are perfect by the way. Can someone help/suggest what to do? |

It might help. I just did a tracert and I can trace only upto my vpn cluster (I need to be online on my vpn right now) and it does not go anywhere beyond my vpn server location. PS: how does one attach screen shots to this forum? | |
