i tried to configure pppoe settings of my modem but stopped half way without entering vpi and vci values and pressed save and reboot(modem) now i want to know have i screwed it up? coz there is slight drop speed of my torrents in 4to 5kB

depends what were u doing ?? i think u should complete whatever u were trying to do
Reset the modem and start all over again.
Also please post a meaningfull title to the thread.
sorry i was just preplexed and was running out of my mind sorry
ok since i beleive i misconfigured the pppoe setup i see a drop of 4 to 5kB in torrents.....all i want to know is screwing up pppoe setup is connected with the speed of torrents?
plz help me out guys clear my doubt

once you are in ppoe mode.. you need to port forward in your modem.. virtual server , NAT-DMZ
