Can't Check Usage

i think their servers went on holidays

at-least speed is back to normal from 31st dec

Foreign telecom companies always keep their words...they said that they'll repair the cables by 31st and they did...that's different in bsnl

Default Unable to connect to bsnl portal

Every time I try to connect to bsnl portal my entry is being shown as invalid.When I ask for password I get the answer that it has been emailed.I cannot figure out which email id they are sending the mail.Do I need to have a bsnlmail account if so how do I go about it.Will someone help.

is ur bsnl connection is new.......?????????....i also had this problem when my connection new like 2-3 days old.............be patience u can log on after few days also there can be some server problems...it will solve in a few days

bsnl must be given to you user id and portel id, which u can use for check mail and usage, "password" is password for both. login in dataone.in for mail check and bbservice.bsnl.in for usage check

In every month 1-3 general BSNL server not work properly
Now for new connection you should ask to the local exchange they will provide both the user name and password(portal and service).

Every month in the last 2-3 days some sort of problem happens with the BSNL site or they themselves will say that maintenance work is being carried out.this time it is little different but let us hope they resolve it soon.

Yes that the fact i observed it last three month but BSNL should maintain their server quickly not wasting 3-4 days.

From my observation BSNL is doing some maintenence. Though I am getting 1.3/1.5 mbbs spped the bbservice.bsnl.in is very slow sometimes taking 5 minutes to open and there is no usage history. Hope once the maintenence work is over things will become normal.

Default Portal Problem

I just now went to the usage checking portal.

When I chose "View Usage", in the "Select the month :" column, there were no months.
Just the "-Select-" was there. The dropdown list didn't contain anything else.
Is this happening to everyone or just me now?

Please let me know.

Oh..
I really forgot that site.
In the earlier days, I used to go to dataone.in and then check my usage from the link provided there.
Once or twice I was taken to this portal from there.

Both Usage check portals are not working. For bbservice.bsnl.in no month to select and data.bsnl.in shows error.

Yes. The other is also not working.

Everybody there.
I first thought of starting the following as a new thread. But, decided to post it here because I was not so sure.

I had went for a trip of 4 days (the days when I didn't come online).
When I returned, I heard most of my friends saying that our government has brought a rule or passed a bill, saying that they will give severe punishments and fines to internet users in India, who try to access illegal and other bad stuff. They also said that even viewing bad pop-ups from good sites will be flagged for punishment.

I don't know for sure that all this is true. If its true, its going to be bad, even for some good-minded users (like me ) .

If anyone know anything about this, please respond. I had googled for something like that. But, didn't find anything.

Same thing for me also I don't know this thing will go on for how many month.Every month 1-5 we can't able to check usage.I am losing my patience now . If tomorrow also server is down I will call the customer care(I know it will not change any thing but we are the customer not spectator we have every right to ask them) I think we all should protest against this otherwise they will do nothing.
