Every month in the last 2-3 days some sort of problem happens with the BSNL site or they themselves will say that maintenance work is being carried out.this time it is little different but let us hope they resolve it soon.![]()
From my observation BSNL is doing some maintenence. Though I am getting 1.3/1.5 mbbs spped the bbservice.bsnl.in is very slow sometimes taking 5 minutes to open and there is no usage history. Hope once the maintenence work is over things will become normal.
I just now went to the usage checking portal.
When I chose "View Usage", in the "Select the month :" column, there were no months.
Just the "-Select-" was there. The dropdown list didn't contain anything else.
Is this happening to everyone or just me now?

I really forgot that site.
In the earlier days, I used to go to dataone.in and then check my usage from the link provided there.
Once or twice I was taken to this portal from there.

Both Usage check portals are not working. For bbservice.bsnl.in no month to select and data.bsnl.in shows error.

I first thought of starting the following as a new thread. But, decided to post it here because I was not so sure.
I had went for a trip of 4 days (the days when I didn't come online).
When I returned, I heard most of my friends saying that our government has brought a rule or passed a bill, saying that they will give severe punishments and fines to internet users in India, who try to access illegal and other bad stuff. They also said that even viewing bad pop-ups from good sites will be flagged for punishment.
I don't know for sure that all this is true. If its true, its going to be bad, even for some good-minded users (like me) .
If anyone know anything about this, please respond. I had googled for something like that. But, didn't find anything.

Same thing for me also I don't know this thing will go on for how many month.Every month 1-5 we can't able to check usage.I am losing my patience now :32:. If tomorrow also server is down I will call the customer care(I know it will not change any thing but we are the customer not spectator we have every right to ask them) I think we all should protest against this otherwise they will do nothing.
Absolutely true(and i wrote that) but we don't have other option prouser at least BSNL authority will know that customer will not tolerate such think day by day in every month may be unlimited user don't have any problem but limited user has few problem for that.Yes if single person made complain then nothing will be happen but if lots of user made complain then they must have to re-think about the matter.
is anybody facing the problem of checking usages..on bbservices.bsnl.in, i am not able to get drop-down list of months since the last 4-5 days.

same here too. my service portal is "data.bsnl.in" , cant even login and when i can login, it says some error has happened which will prevent further actions.
this is a common thing and happens at my place (kolkata) once/twice a month.
it will be back to normal soon, the only prob is that its hard to keep track of data usage.
It's the same every month. You won't able to access or get usage details for first few days.
This is the common problem in early days of month but i think usage is working now(from yesterday)
