    Default Hotmail not opening on BSNL BB

    BSNL broadband connection with the modem UTStarcom WA3002-g1 - Type II wi-fi, (setting PPPoE) all the mail sites opens except Hotmail.com, what will be the problem?

    I have been facing similar problems with BSNL...
    i dunno whats wrong....
    cant even open sites like microsoft.com, hotmail.com, etc
    Can anybody help...

    Check MTU setting in modem/router lower to 1492 or lower.

    or use opendns
    208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222

    clear your internet history ,cookies and caches in the browser

    disconnect your internet
    go to run and type cmd and press enter
    and then type ipconfig/flushdns in the window and press enter

    and now connect to the net

    second option
    change your dns to open dns in tcp/ip settings in network connections
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220

    hi sundar and ranjit

    i have same problem before, now problem solved for me..
    i am also have same modem WA3002-G1

    Using internet only one system at a time(Single user).. follow these steps

    1. Try Bridge mode. all sites will open for u
    2. For the complete tutorial see my two posting in the site

    Bridge Mode Tutorial

    steps:

    1. In IE type 192.168.1.1
    2.Give user name and password (By default username: admin password:admin)
    3.In the Window goto Quickwizard
    4.In this select Run Wizard
    5.Select Bridge Mode and restart ur modem

    Steps for Creating Dialer

    1.In Windows XP select Start->Run
    2.Type ncpa.cpl
    3.It will open Network Connections Window
    4.In the left side select Create New Connection

    5. Network Connection Wizard will open and click next
    6. Select Connect to Internet( By default selected) and click next
    7. Select setup My Connection Manually and click next
    8. Select second option ( Connect using broadband connection that requires user name and password) and click next button
    9.Set the ISP Name for example Dataone

    10. Give ur Broadband user id and password and click next
    11. Finish
    12. Dial Ur Connection to connect internet


    Multiuser(PPPoE).. follow the steps

    1.Install TCP optimizer software in ur system
    2. Set the MTU value 1452
    3.All sites can open now


    My advice change ur modem. go for WA3002-G4.
