Thread: DMZ Setting

I have a Smart AX MT 841 Modem from BSNL and i need to set up DMZ Settings to use VOIP and the service provider asked me to set this on the modem.Please help me to set up DMZ.

Set what on the modem? could you please rephrase your question.. Do you mean configure your voip device to your internet connection?

1.Post ipconfg/all data.
start run type cmd type ipconfig/all

2.In tcp/ip page select obtain ip address automatically.
start network LAN properties check tcp/ip.

3.If you use dialer mode DMZ already available.
in modem enable dhcp.

4. setup bsnl===modem===voipunit===telephone
mention your voip unit details.
