Check your speed at Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test (Brisban and Mumbai server both)
post the result obviously you should get more speed you can run anti spyware and also disable the firewall(to check the speed).

speed is quite good in day now you will check it again in night(between 2:30AM-7:30AM)
Then try to check the spyware, disable firewall(if any) i think you can also download from Microsoft download site to check speed but in recent time this problem(slow speed during night) has faced so many user so if you get good speed in day and not good speed in night(below 256kbps) you can call to customer care of BSNL.

I also get low speed if I am downloading a single torrent. But if I download multiple (upto 3) torrents, then at least one of them will have above 120 KBps
    speed.

Yes i also face such problem but don't know what is the genuine reason for slow speed.I am neglecting this because i think this due to under sea cable fault but actually i don't know the definite reason.

We can not write the torrent site name in this forum you can search it easily mainly torrent speed is depending according to your plan bandwidth(port forward needed) obviously also depend on peer and seed. you can use bittorrent or utorrent software.
