Thread: Cannot open 192.168.1.1 WA1003a

I have been trying to access "192.168.1.1" for two days now. I get the username/pswd prompt. i type in admin. But nothing happens. the pop-up stays there. and i can see "waiting for 192.168.1.1" on the left corner.
I have been trying to set up wifi for my ipod touch. but i am stuck right here. I deseperately need help !!!!

So sorry, nobody responded till now.
Somehow I also missed your post.

1.Clear all temp files/cache from IE
Use ccleaner from filehippo.com.
restart.
or

2.Confirm you are connecting to Internet, in LAN mode.

3Reset the unit with power on for
20 to 30 seconds to default factory settings.
Then try

4. START run type cmd type ipconfig/all
and check default gateway for modem.

5.By default the DHCP server on this router model is not ON. Hence you need to first configure your network connection's TCP/IP properties to get going.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections. Right-click on the Network Adapter corresponding to the Quidway WA1003A and select Properties. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) from the list and click Properties.
Check the Use the following IP address: radio button.

Set the TCP/IP properties of the Local Area Connection/Network Adapter as the following:

IP Address - 192.168.1.10 (You can change the last digits from 02 to 254.)

Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway - 192.168.1.1

Preferred DNS address - 192.168.1.1 (Secondary DNS address not needed.)

Apply everything and close it. Don't connect to DataOne Broadband just yet.

Now, open your favourite browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar etc
