    Default Accessing UT 300R2U

I am wanting to access UT 300 R2U

I did use admin admin as my username and password but i wasnt let in.

Hence i resetted the box and tried the same admin admin thing again without any success.

Any inputs to my numb mind are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

ohh and by resetting the router i meant i held onto the reset buttoned behind the router for about 20 secs in the routers ON condition.

    Default

Start RUN type cmd type ipconfig/all

    You will get 192.168.1. X
    subnet mask 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1 ( usually )
this is the modem's IP address

    Problem Ut300R2U
Reset modem : IP 192.168.1.1 admin admin
    No access still.

    Sorry.
    Please await other users suggestions.
I think you can ping 192.168.1.1 , as the
    log-in page is opening.

I hope BSNL will replace the modem. Try.

In some cases, the username/password is admin/utstarcom.

Contact BSNL helpline for info on this.

After reset do i have to setup a connection in the router with BSNL all over again ?
When i resetted i didnt have to setup anything and hence i am doubting that I have not resetted the box at all !!

    Thanks for replying

P.S : for resetting i am holding onto the reset button (the small recessed black tiny knob behing the box lol ) pressed with a toothpick for 20 secs.

Now someone pls tell me i am resetting the box wrong and i shall go hang myself or then console my poor little mind by saying i am resetting it right !

    P.S 1 : i really do believe i am resetting it.

    P.s 2 : i have tried clearing the browser cache...not to avail
