1.....Please give more details about your Mobile set.
...... Say Nokia/Samsung etc.
2.........Google search term : example
.........nokia 72 mobile phone
............A software may be required to access WIFI network.
3............ Also mention the WIFI modem/router you use.
4. ..............Do you use a laptop in WIFI mode ?
and also add whether you are having a secured wifi or not?i mean wpa or wpa-psk encrypted!!
also ensure ou have 2 things configured
1)DHCP enabled
2)ppoe mode i.e. internet works as soon as you switch on your modem

i m having the same problem...
i have a samsung corby B5310 ...but my wifi has a network key...its a locked one...i do have its key though...but i m not able to connect it...
N-97 is able to connect with it....I-phone can also be connected but not directly...it can only be connected by using a laptop...
so please tell me how cn i connect my samsung corby with this modem...

I am using N82 and I haven't face any problem. First you may have to make an acces point; if you are using encrypted WiFi.

confirm you can surf in WIFI mode.
2.
mention model/make/number/company of 5800.
3. Mention the adslmodem+wifi router same as above.
4. enable upNp in modem/router.
5. Do you have to enable GPRS in your cellphone?
6.Any special software required to be downloaded ?

make sure your modem is in PPPoE mode ( i.e. internet works as soon as modem is switched on )
To connect HTC wildfire with the BSNL modem I have Smart AX MT 841 ADSL modem type 4 With and WLAN card, on my BSNL wire line broadband connection. Now I want to get the connectivity on HTC wildfire (through WIFI). Can someone help me to configure the HTC with the modem
