I have forwarded the ports correctly.
I am downloading a file which got 42 seeders and 342 leeachers.
My net speed results from speedtest.net are dwld:255Kb/s and upld:37Kb/s
A few weeks back i was getting 20kB/s average download speed.

Its quite obvious to get low speeds with such a poor seeder to leecher ratio. Make sure you are not limiting upload speed for the torrent.

Consult the following link for tweaking torrent softare :-

best way is to use U-Torrent and keep it at default settings as per your connection speed. Press CTRL + G and set it accordingly.

I dunno whether this is an issue or not...

I download movies (torrent) from a couple of sites (3 sites to be exact). All these sites (forum) require the member to a good upload/download ratio.
The upload speed is good for the torrent downloaded from 2 of the sites. But from the 3rd site, the upload speed is very bad,its Zero (0 Kb/sec).

I don't understand the reason why the upload speed is zero for the torrent from the 3rd site.

Can any one help me out in sorting out this issue.

The upload speed will depend upon the number of leechers present for a particular torrent file. Verify that there are enough leechers
