I got my ADSL link today only after waiting for 79days. Here goes my story:

Scene1: 21st Oct 2008: Both my Phone and ADSL link goes down.

Scene2: 22nd Oct 2008: I make a complaint on 198 from my neighbours house and waited patiently for 10 days.

Scene3: 2nd Nov 2008: Then i came to know from some friend that there is some diwali bonaza only for maharashtra BSNL users(Double usage one at no extra cost). So i went to Telephone Fault Center and told them. They say we will look into it soon.

Scene4: 5th Nov 2008: I again go to Telephone Fault Center and now they say it is some cable fault and we cant guarantee the time when it will get repaired. They give me the no. of cable man. i call him and he says it will get repaired soon.

Scene5:somewhere in the 3rd week of Nov: I again call the call the cable man. And now he says since winter assembly sessions(of Maharashtra) will begin in dec we have shifted all our workers to the Vidhan sabha and mantri houses to repair phones and other stuff!! That was tooo much. So they were busy right throughout nov end till 30th december.

Scene6: 2nd Jan 2009: I again call the telephone center fault Center and again reminded them of our Dead phones and no ADSL link. They say we will send a man to your house tomorrow.

Scene7: 5th,6th,7th Jan : 3 people come do all the fixing of phone wires from pole to our house, at the telephone box and finally got the ADSL link and phone back on 7th Jan 2009 at 4.30PM
Suddenly lights(electricity) goes!!!

Scene8::7th Jan 2009 at 5PM: Lights come back!! And i try to connect!! But then it soon realised that i have forgotten my damn BSNL password. To make matters worst i will have to wait till friday since tomorrow is holiday(Moharram)

This is my agonizing story since 21st Oct 2008 LOL

Congratulations.

Well, it seems that you are a man with lots of patience and your BSNL ward officers are also act in same way when it comes to work.

If i were in your shoes , i could have literary fired them up by now.
finally , Patience is not how much you can wait, it how you behave while you wait.

At first i appreciate your patience but one thing remember this is BSNL (connecting India by ) in future if you have faced any problem then try to contact with BSNL authority regularly otherwise you know that they are the master of making delay.

Yea really u seem to have a lot of patience. What about the bills , did they keep sending them as usual or wat ?

With so many strange experiences similar to this shared on indiabroadband.net, I think we can start our own TV series not just a movie. Well in that case it'll get Golden Globe awards.

Well i got 0 bill for 2 months... November and December.
