Question how to calculate use ?

hi their , i m confused abt my broadband use. actually i just shifted from plan 750 to 500c. when i check my account use in bsnl it shows a coloum where it says chargeble units other than free nighttime, what i am confused about is that at the end of month if i ahve to pay for all this data or it will be subtracted from from the 1.5 gb allowed to me.

the usage will be subtracted with your allowed limit and the rest will be charged.

As you have said you have a quota of 1.5 GB. The last column in the portal page shows your consumed usage. So if the last column (chargeable units excluding night usage) says that today it is 300 MB, this means that out of 1.5 GB, you have consumed 300 MB.

So at the end of the month, 1.5GB will be substracted from the total usage and if the balance is +ve, you will have to pay @ 0.80p per MB. If the balance is -ve or 0, you do not have to pay anything toward usage charges.

Hope this makes it clear. Or have I made it more confusing?
