    Hi,
I use BSNL , and recently changed my Plan 1st Jan' 09 from Home 500 to Home 750 UL , but the download speed is worst , I get about only 25 to 27 kpbs on any download.

Do i have to change my plan
Can any one help me on this regard.

UL750 gives 256 Kbps speed = 256 Kilo Bits per second.
    1 Bit = 8 Bytes.

    Thus UL750 gives = 256/8 = 32 KBps speed (max).
It seems your connection is fine.

    Consult the following for more:-

In UL 750 you will get the speed what 'thats_me' said now if you want to better speed in unlimited plan then UL 512 is the only option in BSNL otherwise you have to chose limited plan where you can get 2 mbps no other option still available in BSNL

    Cool

yup u r getting a normal speed for ur plan, i ws using home 500 c+ before, i changed it this month only, although it is slow, atleast u dont have ruin ur sleeping hours for downloading..

If u want faster speed n unlimited downloading, u should go for more expensive plans, BSNL provides Home UL at speed of 512kbps also i think, go for that.. go to BSNL site n check it

    best of luck..

Don't break your heart. Discuss and argue the case with BSNL GM on a logical basis. Be truthful, somewhat apologetic, somewhat blaming BSNL (tell them that you were repeated informed that plan was changed), etc. They (BSNL) will relent.
