    Default C2110 and Ubuntu

    I have a Seimens C2110 modem, with Ubuntu installed. The modem works fine in XP but is a no go in Ubuntu. I have the following outputs after doing the ppoe config and giving the appropriate user name and password.

    I also tried to reset the modem to PPPoE_0_35 setting as suggested by members in the forum but it does not seem to work. Pl do respond

    I am not against Linux ,but whats the point in using such OS where we need to face lots of trouble even for doing simple task as mentioned above.
    same can be done in windows within few seconds.

    Normally its easy as creating connection in Windows.
