Thread: Regarding non-availability of "EQUIPMENT"???(BSNL)

When i went to enquire regarding delay(10days after application submitted) in installing BSNL UL750+ plan, the JE in telephone bhavan said, "We are waiting for the equipment..We 'll install in a week"....

The equipment he reffered to is "not a modem"

Can u tell me what equipment he referred to? (I couldn't understand what JE said)

Also kindly tell me "What are the things required for installation of broadband?"

Help me plz...

at ur end ,only some lengths of wire, 1/2 extra splitter (relative case) and a modem will be needed. The modem comes from BSNL (either free or will be charged for in ur bills ), the line man took 200/- from me for the cables and 2 extra splitters ( I m not sure if he is supposed to or not). Thats it. These are the only things u should worry about.
Any H/W needed at the server/port end shouldnt be ur concern.

Thats the normal bribe they charge for anysort of work

Get your local vigelence number call them up and arrange for a raid... give the powdered money to the babu and get him caught red handed... he will loose his job over Rs200

Ive done it soooo many times and it just takes a phone call and a complaint written on a plain paper..

Make sure you see his face when he gets caught and please please do go to the court to testify against him.

The babu in question will try to bribe you for not testifying against him in court... take the money and still testify against him in court... thats the best tit for tat these sorruopt babus can get.

Aam janta has suffered enough and these bastards have made bribery a norm in India... things need to change.

I know, i know.......
But if u saw the look on this guys face, u would have given him that money too. He was lookin so sick and even came to install my connection on sunday so he could take that money before the others did the job. i had no option but to give him my blank-dvd money.
When one sees such incidents, he finds it a lil bit harder to believe that we have progressed. I know that now bollywood films are produced by warner bros and lot, but what about these people. This lot is not from the trash. How much do they get paid ??? by the look on his face, he seemed to have a fever. I dnt know........... but i m movin offtopic.
