    Thumbs up Problems with Port Forwarding (Siemens C2110)

    HI. I'm using BSNL connection with Siemens C2110 modem. I'm finding it difficult to port forward. I've tried creating a static IP bt thn th connection doesnt start (I edited th properties of th internet connection frm OBTAIN IP EVERYTIME to a STANDARD IP everytime bt it doesnt connect). Ive changed th local area connection to a Static IP.

    I tried goin into th site for port forwarding. I went into th settings 4 port forwarding bt it doesnt allow me to edit anything. I even tried changing it from home1.html to home.html bt it changes back automatically. Plz help me wit ths problem. Plz tell me wht to do frm th point i open th site 192.168.1.1!!!

    [My BitComet shows a green light, so no prob wit Firewall]

    The Main Problem is I cant create a new port. All th textboxes r in grey so they dnt allow me to change anythin!

    You have two options.

    a) Continue bridge mode with a dialer. All ports are forwarded by default. No port forwarding is necessary.

    b) If you wish to remain in PPPoE mode, you must know what IP address to port foward. Please read this guide for understanding the concepts: Torrents and Port Fowarding Guide

    I do not have your modem. You should look for NAT/DMZ or Virtual Server option in the modem menu.

    In the BSNL UL750 plan, you cannot get speed more than 30 kB/s which is same as 256 kbps.

    @hussain2332
    Modem/: Siemens c2110
    I even tried changing it from home1.html to home.html
    Please see the Link given in Post No.5.
    try 192.168.1.1/advance_menu.html.
    More screen shots of modem later if needed.
    I don't have it.
