Rep Power: 1 | All, I have a home500 plan in which the download/upload limit is 2.5G. I would like to go for Home 750 unlimited download/upload plan. I would like to have your suggestions before doing that on: 1. What is the procedure to convert? 2. Is it worth it? I mean, how would be the download/upload speed after converting? Regards, Praveen |

| Platinum Member | 1. You must submit a written application. Make a duplicate and take the received sig/stamp on the duplicate for your records. Plan change takes 5/6 days or more. Check the portal regularly under 'My orders'. When status shows as 'Provisioned' the plan change is effective. Till that time, you are still on the old plan. 2. Is it worth it? Yes and No. You will have peace of mind, no surprise bills, no heavy amounts to pay anymore. But speed will reduce to 256 kbps or 32 kB/s. p/s.

Rep Power: 1 | bro, even if you go for 750UL,before even touching your machine, make sure that the plan change has taken place, else you will live in fear of a heavy bill,as I am doing today. My plan change was confirmed on 4th jan,but the portal now shows that I will be charged till 10th Jan. WTF! |

Rep Power: 1 | @just4kix and hussain2232, thanks for your suggestions. While browsing through this site, I found one thread on checking usage. That's when I realised that I was on Home500 plan and not any unlimited plan (I had just downloaded 2 movies y'day). Thanks to this site, I woke up at the right moment cos right now my usage is around 2.3 GB (close to the limit but not over it!!!!!). Regards, Praveen |
