    Exclamation Beware of plan change....

    When its broadband, beware of the fact that people at the other side are humans too..
    and when you are changing the plan, it would be gr8 to be very cautious of whats happening at your account,i mean, dont be just ok that your plan has been changed,,
    in the forum i see everyday, many people complaining of that they changed the plan but at the side of the broadband isp the things werent done official..
    i wont say that the consumers were fool, i will say it happens with everyone..but the right one are always cautious..



    when you apply for a plan change please check the following:

    1. you got a complete reciept of the account's officer(aka your sarve-sarva)
    2. you didnt got a hand written chit with no explaination( shocking but true, many got this)
    3. dont think that blah-blah-blah engi. or line-man was your knower(they fool too)
    4. dont be too smart and impatient to work online even without checking that things have infact changed on your account portal or not( take a pic of the website)
    5. try to include a cheque and not cash at all moments, and please make a copy of the statements (just a Rupee wont count 100billion on your account i think)
    6. dont download much if you are suspicious somewhere at any part of mind( sometimes you have intutions, so just check your account in portal)
    7. dont be joyous!!!




    atlast i convey my greetings to all of them, who are working on their respective plans...
    alas! i convey my sadness for those who missed the above tricks and were a$$ kicked...but time is not low, go and work on monetory issues with the local JE and line man and that really works....

    Its sad,but true ,that Im one of those who have sufferred,but I did my part by checking at the site and calling up 18004241800 and verifying before going on that download spree,but now am jacked. suggest ways to get out of this **** if you guys can please.

    Fight the case. They will usually agree to reduced billing... but be very polite yet assertive (being assertive does not mean being aggresive).

    That is exactly what I want to know.Thats how to fight the case.Im a known man there in BSNL offices coz I had fought to get the connection in the first place,Fought as in I had to complain to the vigilance department since the manager of my area was not agreeing on giving me the connection even though there are many bsnl bb services in my building,the reason being that "some line parameter" was not fine and he was so lazy that he could not fix it!atlast I got the connection,I had done quite a research and got the contacts of some high post officers,but the questions here are:


    1. I have not yet received the bill....I will probably get it after a month.
    2. I dont know whom to go to.
    3. I have complained at the site given in other thread.

    This site is not an official complaining site...yet a public forum where we can show others how BSNL is working with people...

    dont be sad,,,fight the case in distt. cons. forums...
    you will surely win if you have written payment reciepts, or copies of the website portal..where this is all shown....

    Good thread. I also asked for a change from my Home 250 to Home 500c and got a printed slip showing plan change date 01-02-2009 and new plan Home 500c. But so far at the site it is showing Startup 250. As per the statuses explained in some other thread I will waiting till Home 500c is provisioned. It is nice and am grateful to all whose advice in this forum make me such a wise decision. Thanks for all for contributing.

    i have a strange problem.....i shifted from 750ul to 1350ul

    my portal still shows 750ul plan but i am getting 512kbps speed and when i visited the bsnl office on their portal my account shows 1350ul plan but when i get back home it still shows 750ul on my portal but i get speeds of 60kBps on torrents

    This is a good thread offcourse. The BSNL BB user who read the threads in this forum will not suffer. One information is that. I am in 500c+ plan and One night I forget to stop my download at 8:00AM & the download continues to 9:35. but the BSNL gives me free download upto 8:21 AM.

    yeah its good , but not available at all places, like my i only get upto 8 am, even if i dont disconnect the free usage gets subtracted automatically

    I wont call it a strange problem,but just that bsnl has a bad bad infrastucture,and even more pathetic management.Our brothers in this forum have well helped me,and ill be grateful forever,and you too follow the threads here.......may be the bsnl guys should pay us too for maintaining this forum!!!
