    Question port forwarding query??

    To forward a port to external router, u need to have a static IP address..
    Can i forward a port for a single session i.e. when i connect to the internet, for that whole session my IP address is static although it may change next time i connect. But for one single session can i forward the ports, if so, how??
    :blink::blink:

    and also is port forwading safe, is there any threat to gettting ur system hacked??

    Hello! You post was not deleted because it was not there to be deleted.

    You did not post anything here. As a moderator I can confirm that. You must have thought that you posted something, but actually you did not.

    Resolved the mystery ... there is an identical post: http://www.indiabroadband.net/broadb...ing-query.html
    I can see your post there.

    I am merging the two threads.
