Rep Power: 0 | How can I change my ip address completely?My ip adress is dynamic but every time the last two digits only change.I want to change my full ip address.I'm using the Nokia Siemens sl2_141 modem provided by dataone.Any help will be appreciated |

| Platinum Member | BSNL gives dynamic IP addresses only for most plans. You have no control on this. If you wish a static IP address, you will have to sign up on some of their high end business plans. How does dynamic IP affect you anyway? Unless you are hosting something, this is not of any concern. Quote:
With internal IP, DHCP on or off, does not matter. You can still assign static IP to the lan card. The only condition is that static IP so assigned must be part of the router's subnet.

Rep Power: 4 | hmm i thought he was talking abt internal ip , yeah u r rite kixi, buts safe to disable , cause when i dont disable it shows not connected, but everything works fine ( i kept it same subnet as well) |
