Thread: bsnl500c plan,trouble......

am using bsnl broadband 500c plan since 2 years i used to get upto the mark speed of 150+ during night,but since a month after keeping the file for downloading it gets paused by itself.i download throught torrents both upload and download will be 0 after half an hour,i will get the same speed after after restarting the computer for another10mins.theres no problem in comp i checked,dsl link will be intact but downloading pauses by itself.there is no problem in modem also..........plz any1 help me:yawn:

Does it happen for the particular torrent only? Or for any torrent? Are there active seeds (peers who have 100% of the file are who have the uppercase 'U' flag) for the particular torrent?

open your event management console and see if u can see a "generic host process shutdown" event. i'd this problem too and i tracked it down to this. next time when it happens trying opening google.co.in or something. if you've lost your internet connection altogether then the problem might be this.

I am having this same problem. I have this problem on non torrent downloads too. The download speed gets to 200+ KBps and then after sometimes starts slowing down and eventually stops. This mostly happens during 2-8 am.

Bsnl ( i dont know why) is disturbing on some very important ports,..all the plans are affected by this...one of my friend also told of slow speed, and that he got call from JE to deactify the open dns from his proxies...
torrents are slow,. I think speed low is not just like that, its from some reason...

I'm experiencing low speed only during 2am-8am (H500-free) since this Jan. But during daytime, the speed is extremely good. My friend is in U/L750 plan who experiences the same problem every time. Either by using bittorrent or DAP, the speed is absolutely weird. I was told across India, so many customers are facing the same problem. PLS reply..
