Thread: has the rental of home 1350 + decreased????

today i got my bill for december 2008 month....wht a surprise......my total bill amt payable was 1326....in which 1180 thy hv taken as rental n 146 bucks as taxes......


has anybody else got the decreased bill..or is it my short termed hallucination???

1.is it the first month of your broadband ? if yes then please mention the activation day.
2.If not then check all the previous bill some times bill BSNL adjust the bills

this is my second bill...the first one ws 1499 bucks....

I wonder maybe BSNL's 1350 tariff plan has been changed.

But still no official news about the reduction of rate.If BSNL reduce the tariff rate they generally promote the offer by various way.Please mention your location ? may be some local promotional offer can be possible but i am still thinking they did few adjustment in bill 'viper_in_blood' as you mention this is your second bill then please write the activation day and your first month only BB rental which BSNL charged you(because they can only take full rental of the month for BB if your broadband is activated on 1st day of the month)

Promotional Scheme of Broadband for Government Employees.

In order to facilitate the acquisition and usage of Broadband among government employees, the competent authority has approved 20% discount on Broadband Service charges (usage and rental) for Broadband connections provided to Central Government/State Government/ PSU Employees category. The scheme is to be launched from 1st December 2008 across BSNL network and is a continuous scheme.

The serving and retired government employees applying for Broadband connection under this scheme should furnish an undertaking countersigned by their Drawing and Disbursing Officer regarding their bonafide along with the application. In case of retired employees, an attested copy of the Pension Pay Order should be submitted along with the application. The application should be marked as “FOR GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES SCHEME”. The discount 20% may be given on usage only for the Annual Plan options.

The scheme is also applicable to existing Broadband customers who are serving/retired government employees subject to their furnishing an undertaking as detailed above. The discount of 20% in Broadband Service charges for the existing customers will also be applicable if they apply, from the month of such application.

i m also inclined to think tht might be the reason......but still m hoping the trend of reducing the bill shud continue...it suits my pocket....
