BSNL ties-up with TN varsity
MADURAI: BSNL’s unit here is entering into a tie-up with the Bharathiar University (BU) to provide Higher Education to its employees and customers at concessional rate.
“This is the first time a PSU is entering into a tie-up with the university for promotion of higher education among its employees and customers with concessions,'' circle General Manager V.K.Sanjeevi told reporters here. The Shresta Academy for English w ould be the authorised study of the university.
The BSNL customer MBA/MCA distant education students would get a 10 per cent discount on course fee from the academy. For women, 20 per cent discount would be given while corporates with five enrolments would get 15 per cent concession.
On its part, the BSNL would offer a discount of Rs.500 on every new land line WLL or Broadband connection for students. In case of existing customers, CallNow card worth Rs.500 (face value) would be issued freely. - PTI
