Default Plan : HUL 900 PLUS

    Hi Guys,

I am bsnl broadband user from last 1 1/2 years.Since the beginning i am having HUL 900 PLUS plan.Even in my latest Billing statement the PLAN name is mentioned as HUL900PLUS.but if i check with bsnl site now, it doesn't mention anything about my plan or tariff

    bsnl.co.in/service/bbtariff/unlimitedhome.htm

I feel that i am left behind in the scene some where.

i stay in Hyderabad. And am paying monthly bill of 839/- RS .
The router(modem) which i use is my own (D-Link ADSL 2+ Router). And i don't have any fixed monthly charges on the land line connection.

Am i being cheated by bsnl? beacuse all my broad band connection particulars are similar to home unlimited 750 plus plan..? And am paying 100 RS more than the 750 plan?

I never had any complaint or problem with bsnl and that kept me going without checking or contacting any one.

what are my options to upgrade for better plans? I need Unlimited Download and Speed faster than 256 kbps

i also don't know about the plan Now 839 Rs is less than 900 so tell me exactly what rental they charged you for broadband and mention what are you getting feature(usage, bandwidth etc) in your plan(is it limited or unlimited plan) ?

My connection comes under Ameerpet BSNL exchange ...
HUL900PLUS stands for Home Unlimited 900 PLUS
My features are exactly the same features of 750 Plus plan mentioned in the BSNL site.

Just watching the break down in billing statment again, I think they are charging 750/- only. but bloody guys forgot to change the plan name in the billing all these months.

    Call charges : 4.00
    Debit Charges: 750.00
    Service tax : 93.00
    Adjustments: 8.00

    Bill Amount: 839.00

can any other guys using 750 plus plan clarify how much they are billed in total for Debit Charges+Service tax+Adjustments as per their billing statment

And i am looking for a better plan than the existing one for unmilted downloads. suggest me which is good

That mean what sb21pro said your plan is UL 750 PLUS.Now better plan is UL 1350 with 1350 /- rental in this plan 512 kbps bandwidth will be available. in present time BSNL has only two unlimited plan other plans are all for limited user.May be within few month BSNL can announce 1 mbps UL plan but it's not sure

hardly had any issues with bsnl...only thing is they keep blocking some urls at times. so instead of depending upon their DNS servers i use open DNS IPs.

i think its time to move into 1350 plan.

    @kneekill
There's nothing wrong with your bill details you are charged what should be charged and its correct

If you need more speed with unlimited downloads then definitely opt for UL1350+ plan it is the best when it comes to unlimited but it costs a little bit as you will be charged
    rs 1350/- + taxes@12.5%

If u wanna change plan, wait till late March. Maybe BSNL will introduce some new UL plans and some tariff slashing at the end of march or early April.
