What are thd data transfer caps...if they're really low i think we would be better of with a 500 plan
Home 500 plan speed upto 2 mbps(uptp 256 KB/s) but it's vary from area to area all the user are not getting 2 mbps but still most of the user are getting average 1-2 mbps.So this plan is generally high bandwidth plan
For Plan 199C & 299C the bandwidth is 256kbps (fixed). unlike 500C which is 256 kbps to 2 mbps (variable)
The official website hasnt been updated yet with these newer plans..
Thanks for the info btw
Thanks for the info and btw infact
those are the costliest plans available today if they are introduced ....... it looks from the outside oh wow only 199/- but when the usage is heavy (which is usually not paid attention to it) kids havocly open lots of websites then there's a trouble and you will be bamboozled by seeing your bill at the end of the month!!!
Bandwidth is fixed up to 256 Kbps max.
@ cool_techie
The 199C & 299C plans are available in the website here

No idea about the 350C plan mentioned in the first post.
@ player
plan 299C with 1 GB limit may be an ok plan for the average user who mainly uses his cell phone for calls and only needs a LL for BB.

Where is 1 mbps Home UL plan ? BSNL is really 2 yrs behind from other poor country like Malaysiya![]()
Malaysia...poor?? Didnt knew that.
@ totallyfandu
Plan 350 flexi is not a combi plan. Landline rental is not included in it (contrary to ur original post)
landline rent is included in 350 home flexi plan
BSNL is provided 8MBPS plan but it is only for business purpose that is in B2000,B4000 ----mega bits per second
here we some more experiments with plans from bsnl to attract customers but all combo plans are not so attractive i think
tHANKS
Select the plan as ur need

Funduji, real fundu work done. Repo given.
My only concern is that the ISP keeps changing the plans now and then. I had started similar work long ago and gave it up as pointless.
It is a comparison of BSNL vs. Airtel vs. Reliance. Check the attachment (please note that the info may not be accurate).

Just downloaded the zip attachment, indeed good work indeed![]()
Thank you, cool_techie_tvm.
I was thinking of expanding it to Tata Indicom + others. But then realized that plans get changed all the time.
Nice work fanduji and of course just4kix...
tata indicom plans are not same for all states, they change from city to city and moreover they keep on updating there plans and promo offers every now and then, so i don't think adding tata in this list is a good idea.
we can look for other providers like MTNL, Sify, hathway etc coz they don't change plans so frequently.
These days Tata is giving free colour printer with new connections in delhi, faridabad, noida and ghaziabad but it is for business users only not for home users.

I think 350 home flexi is good plan for starters because in this they get everything they need.

For 350 flexi against Free Calls & Call charges per MCU the words "as per existing plan" is written.
Doesn't this imply that u need to have a Landline plan in addition to 350 Flexi BB plan?
Then total expense becomes 350 (BB) + 180 (LL) = 530 p.m. for 1.8 GB + 50 calls +no NU
500C would be a better option with 1.5 GB + 175 Calls + Night Unlimited
