This is a discussion on restricting upload speed on torrents within the BSNL broadband forums, part of the Broadband Internet Service Providers category; i have checked the connection settings.my half-open connections are 0. what to do???...

even my connection status shows green right symbol.at the bottom....

my conxn also shows the green signal.but my upload slowing does not slow downloads.

Set Half Open Connections - utorrent

Option -> Preferences -> Advanced -> select net.max_halfopen and input a Value in box and Click Set.

Check Show Statistics when using (seeding or leeching) utorrent.

utorrent 1.8.1 stable have problems when limiting upload speed. utorrent 1.8.1 beta version have all the features of the latest stable version and have no problem when limiting upload speed.
