The interface is similar because BitTorrent bought utorrent. Soon after the buying, the interface of the old client was revamped to utorrent's interface.

On first look

The interface is cool. The features are little and there are very little settings we can customize. And there is no schedule feature. If the performance is fine then, it's good enough for me. I like the interface of Bit-torrent's client.

Please test the client in public trackers. In private trackers all the clients available will show high speeds.

There is also an option to view advanced statistics.

This is why I wanted to try the Bittorrent's old client.

The colorful progress bar and the simple interface.

Yes, that's why I said old Bittorrent client from Bittorrent.com. The newer version is same as utorrent. It's got all the features of utorrent too.

utorrent was taken over by BitTorrent, Inc.
So both clients are pretty much similar now...with the same developmental teams working on them.

I will also try it tonight. If the speed is the same then I am going to stick with it. I also have Unlimited plan. So it's going to be a problem without the schedule feature.

I am using the last original Bittorrent version BitTorrent 5.2.2.

PS. Anyone know what is DNA feature in Bitorrent new version that gets installed with it ?

BitTorrent DNA is a program that stands for BitTorrent Delivery Network Accelerator.

I tried the Bittorrent Client with a well seeded torrent from a pubic tracker and the result was disappointing. It was too slow and took too much time to connect to peers. It's just like Opera's inbuilt torrent downloader, but with a good interface.

i have not posted this in order to help you. the thread starter asked this question and lot of people say that restricting upload speeds does not affect download speeds and that was the point which i was making clear ...

if you dont need those suggestions - dont take them. there was absolutely no need for you to make this post mentioning that you dont need my suggestions.
