now i changed my plan to home ul 750 plus...
Say you applied for the change.
    Wait and check up.
When did you apply. for the change ?
Telephonic confirmation by CC won't help
if you get a bill for a big amount for BB usage.

As 500C has free NU , stick to heavy d/l during 0200AM to 0800AM.
home 750 speed max 32KB/sec (*conditions apply)

    Check in BSNL usage portal/s
    with your 14digit Portal ID/PW
    under "My Orders."

An alphanumeric portal id code is required to check the account usage. Ideally they should be providing u with the same when the connection is setup. Please contact the exchange/NIB for the portal id.

Ideally it is done during the first week of the suceeding month. If the plan change is applied for Jan, then it will be carried out by Feb first week only. This custom is sometimes altered in some exchanges.

Why are you asking for someone's personal details?

I applied for change in plan from home 250 to 500c in 1st week of Jan 09. bsnl site still showing home 250 provisioned. But in the physical bill recd for Dec 08 showing plan 500C with all charges. portal is not updated with new plan and proper status (may be my area not quick enough to do so) though the provisioned status will be after the actual plan change from Feb 09.

I dont get it. U were in H250 on Dec 2008. U applied for a plan change to H500c on Jan 2009. And yet on the Dec bill, they charged u as per H500c?

That is not the point. Personal details can be compromised. How do you justify asking someone's phone number, user id, etc?

The original thread owner has asked a problem and a solution. Your solution is - strip off all your clothes and I will tell you whether you have a headache or not.

I can also tell someone, tell me your bank user id/pwd and I will tell you how much balance you have in the bank.

Senior mod just4kix and senior member Rameshjee already advised you not to ask for personal details here, please don't do it again otherwise i love to ban users who step out of rules of forum.

@unagie, you are wasting your times, enjoy your UL with 2Mbps.
Look unagie, you are allrady call the customer care 1000 times,
LOL look what you did, you call the customer care 1000 times, and they reply you 1000 times that your plan has been changed, So why you worry about it. If you still warry and have doubt then chek what I say below.

    1. Go to your account portal and cheak what the Plan say to you, if it say UL750, then you are OK
    2. Download some file, 1MB, 5MB what ever you want and then cheak your account details in the portal what the portal say in the section "Traffic(KB)" for the old one, Chargable Units (KB) Excluding Night Unlimited for the new one. If this section say to you unit - 0, the you are completely Ok. I give you the screen shot below, so you can understand.

    Old Portal

    New Portal

If you dont want to kill your speed then enjoy the UL 2Mbps with Rs 750 Per month

Its possible only if u have access to BSNL's internal system which indicates all details of a customer. The search is generally initiated by entering the phone no. with STD code.

^^ And how come a commoner get access to internal billing portal of BSNL? Totallyfandu has explicitly mentioned that he is just another bsnl broadband subscriber with 2 years of usage experience.
