Default Poll: How many times you have crossed the maximum usage limit and paid extra bucks?

Guys, share your experience about how many times you have crossed the maximum usage limit as a BSNL broadband subscriber and bring smile on the faces of BSNL bosses?

As for me, I am using BSNL broadband connection for over a year and a half, and during this period I have crossed the maximum usage limit Six times.

Lastly, their is also an option for UNLIMITED plan category for our UL_Category friends.

I started my Broadband journey with UL750 then after one month, I shifted my plan to UL 1350. At that time I downloaded much. After using UL 1350 for 5 - 6 month, I realise that I am consuming only 5 - 6 GB per month so I can change my plan to a limited one. From last month I am in 500C+. and I have not crossed the maximum limit.

I also faced a billing problem in my first bill after getting my broadband connection. The BSNL guys have added an extra sum of 1200 rupees for the modem which I have already paid. So after bunking my college for one day and running to the babus of BSNL the problem was solved.

    A poll was not necessary.

I exceed my limits every month and get charged Rs. 100~300. But I use it mostly for work and I charge 50% of total BB charges back to my company.

Well as stated in some other thread, i had (mis)used the broadband account of the datanetwork chief some years back and i was charged an extra of 15k. They even threatened me with vigilance case and i had to sort it out with him face to face :P

@ cool_techie_tvm - Well you can always say that your account itself was hacked.
And you have no idea who did it.It won't be easy for them to proove it wrong.

Actually its real easy for them to prove me wrong, if i stated that someone else hacked into my account. See BSNL records the following data :

    1) Telephone connection from which connection was established
    2) Duration of the connection established
    3) Mac ID of NIC/Modem

So if i argue that someone else hacked into my account, it could be done only through my phone line. And since my phone line cables are not shared with anybody, i will be cornered.

Instead of playing about with them, i just admitted to misusing it. Besides i was using it for 2 years and they had billed me only for 1 month of usage. If i denied using it, then they would dig deeper and i would have to spend the rest of my earnings paying for BSNL.
