    Angry problem with bill for the month of november

    i had HUL750+ plan in that month i received a bill for abt Rs.6000 even though on the bill the usage shows zero
    i went to the bsnl office they said that i had used someone else's username password so it was billed to me
    but i hv never ever used anyone else's connection
    so why the problem then why the heck the problem

    the bsl employees simply says that u have to pay the bill there is no other option wht should i do??????

    First ask them for proof.
    If they don't listen, threaten them with consumer court action.
    Or else get a new isp.

    they say they have a letter but they r not ready to show us that letter
    now we have said we willl go to the consumer court they say that u can go where ever u want to it doesnt matter

    really you can go to customer court but still again you can ask to the BSNL officer just ask them to give the usage detail of particular number otherwise in which base they are telling that.Another think just check that what they have official written in bill.It will important for you in court.

    Seek the help of the nearest NIB office. They will help u in tracking whether your live was indeed used for assessing other accounts. BTW in such cases BSNL makes no goof-ups, as someone must have complained to BSNL that u are abusing their account, and hence they billed u.

    I forgot to add to the earlier posting that u need to pay the amount first, and then fight for debiting the said amount from the suceeding phone bills. Dont worry, it might take sometime, but if your case is genuine then BSNL will surely deduct the amount in the coming bills.

    I am 99% sure that whats wrong with your net

    same i am having this month

    you have asked for change of plan and they have accepted and you started to use from 1st of that month but BSNL noobs may have started your service little later (see your service effective date in portal). And those 4-5 days time gave your bill of 6000

    Mine currently showing about 8-10000 , but they have said that we will change service effective date. Let see if they change or not otherwise i am happy to allowing them to cut my telephone line

    Nothing, you can say that you havent use, they will cut your telephone line and wont give any connection and deposit back

    I have seen BSNL making quite a fuss about non-bill payment with legal proceedings. My advice would be to contact the NIB, get proof, then contact the Accounts officer (for your telephone section). If much evidence is presented, the problem will be handled by the AO himself. And he will generate a newer bill with altered amount.

    In my case my Exchange's SDOT himself has given me guarantee that he will change service effective date to 1st of the month then i'm going to pay bill otherwise its do or die , even they know that they will have to just come as recovery agent and then try to solve matter and allowing us to pay less bill,

    but the main thing is if we are paying full month's rent then why we would get plan change date of between month ? They should charge less for that month's plan or place service date as 1st of that month.

    @ siddhantchd - If you are sure there has been no mistake on your part, don't pay the bill & expect to get a refund in future.
    I had similar disputes with MTNL 3 times with my night unlimited plan.I never payed & they cut the line.Now I'm happy with reliance phone & internet.

    raised complaint for it and move to A O TR DEPT. to resolve your bill problem

    Whether you gave he application for plan change in he month of oct. if it yes then in the month od NOv. nobody plans change due to diwali dhamaka scheme in this month every body is provided the double usage of existing plan if ur connection is older than 6 months then u also get it. Ur plan changed in he month DEC BUT BILLING OF NOV IS DONE AS PER PERIVIOUS PLAN SO U GET THIS HUGE BILL.

    SO CONTACT SDE BROADBAND OF THAT PARTICULAT AREA HE WILL DEFINATELY SOLVE UR PROBLEM.

    DIWALI DHAMAKA SCHEME IS ONLY FOR THE MONH OF NOV AND IT IS MAINLY IN ALL CIRCLES

    BSNL is accusing him of misusing someone else's account. And in my experience BSNL doesnt charge u with such an offense unless they have something concrete against u. So i would suggest the thread starter to enquire more into that matter.

    This does not happen often, someone really has complained.


    First make sure, if you haven't used someone else ids. ask your family members also.
    Ask BSNL for the proof?

    if you are correct and you are 100% sure about this, then pay your bill. and take up the matter with BSNL.

    If you slightes doubt in your mind, either payup or lose your connection.


    whatever you do, first ask BSNL to show you the proof and act dumb as you don't know anything

    One thing i told u that no one can use other person user i.d. and password because it is port binding which means that a particular user name is bind to particular subscriber telephone no. only it can be used from his telephone no. not anywher else in India

    ^^ All accounts are not port bound. Even in the days on port bounding, i could easily use the username/passwords of certain top guns of BSNL.

    Well since u are just another BSNL subscriber, and since i was billed 15k extra for one month's misuse i know that it can be done.

    because my brother is having unlimited plan but i cant use his u/n and password and he is also unable to use mine

    Give a written application to disable port binding in the two accounts. U should be able to use his account at your premises.
