| Junior Member | I have setup my UT300R2U modem in PPPoE mode so that modem automatically dials to the ISP. It is working fine. But the problem is the system is not showing the network icon (in the taskbar right hand side where date is visible) as it used to show when i connect to the network by using dialer software. Any one having idea how can the same network icon be activated in PPPoE mode? Thanks, Ripan Arya |

| Amor vincit omnia | Go to Network Connections, right click the LAN Card and select properties. In the resulting window select (put check mark) Show icon in notification area when connected. U should now see the network activity icon near the clock. |
