Thread: concession for broadband users - gov. employees.

Bsnl through its web site circulates that 20% rebate is admissible for central government emoloyees. It seems that the benifits are available to the current emoloyees only, whether the pensioners are also entiled for this benifit or not that is not mentioned. If the benifits are admissible to all the central govt employyes including the pensioners it need be circulated in their website clearly indicating also how the subscriber should apply etc.

Would I be entitled to get the discount from the day the scheme was launched or i would get the discount only from the day I register for the scheme ?

I think all exisitng Govt employees should be benifited from the day the scheme is launched provided they give the required documents.

If anybody can help me resolving my above issue !

Follow the procedure and submit the required documents to A.O of your Exchange.
20% concession will be effected from March 2009 bill.
on BB monthly rental modem rental ( if applicable)
and excess data usage.

If you had opted for Annual payment NOT available for current period)

Promotional scheme to encourage more usage of BB.

So same facility granted to existing Govt employees etc. already using BB.

Yes, all existing govt employees including retired pensioners are entitled to get the benifits from the month they applied, I have applied with required documents in February and expecting the discounted bill from february ( to be sent in March)
