Thread: Help regarding Bsnl Broadband connection...

Hello friends,
I have a clarification regarding the billing structure of bsnl. Actually I am in Home500C plan. According to that plan, they told that from night 2.00 to 8.00 no volume will be considered for billing. Usually I use torrents for downloads during 2 to 8. When I see my account usage in morning, it shows some data usage that is under billing.... So I have a doubt, from 2 to 8 download alone will be free or download+upload is also free a??

Didnt the OT post the same yesterday also? I remember reply to a similar query yesterday.

Answering your query, the downloads should commence after 2am and end before 8am. If slightest of variations occurs between your time and the BSNL server time, u will be charged for the extra usage. It will be considered as overlapped usage.

this is so obvious ... but i think wat he wanted to ask is that is the upload volume during night time considered for billing?

U r having 500 C plan and during 0200am to 0800 am everything is free downloading as well as uploading and that volume is not considered in billing

Obviously no, hence the 2am to 8am period is termed as free time !!
