Hello friends,

I have a clarification regarding the billing structure of bsnl. Actually I am in Home500C plan. According to that plan, they told that from night 2.00 to 8.00 no volume will be considered for billing. Usually I use torrents for downloads during 2 to 8. When I see my account usage in morning, it shows some data usage that is under billing.... So I have a doubt, from 2 to 8 download alone will be free or download+upload is also free a??

2am to 8am is free. But make sure u connect by 2:05am and disconnect by 7:55am. The time in your pc and bsnl's time will be different. Hence such a precaution is needed. Read in some threads that BSNL charges for overlapping usages (between free and non free time)

is there any what to connect and disconnect using any softwares??? or else i have to manually switch on my modem???
