    Arrow Is it true BSNL broadband infrastructure is in Upgradation mode ?

    What plan is going to upgrade ? I am really anxious. where is source of that news ?

    Yes it is true that BSNL is in the process of upgradation. This is necessary because of deeper broadband penetration. More and more users are getting added to the network on daily basis and existing network is proving to be insufficient. High speed traffic routers and extra access concentrators are being installed in major states.

    They may be upgrading servers, DSLAMs, BRAS, lines, ports, etc. Whether they will introduce high speed plans at affordable rates is a million dollar guess.

    Its INFRASTRUCTURE upgradation.
    i.e. upgradation of DSLAMs, servers, switches & gateways, ports, OFC etc. All these create the backbone on which the service is provided.
    At best u can expect better BB experience.
    But it has nothing to do with TARIFF PLANS

    yes they are upgrading as i already mention cdr based detail ,in futhure everything is CDR based

    Bsnl should also improve hosting facilties,so that more and more sites are hosted in INDIA itself.

    this would reduce cost of bandwidth further
