Is the problem recurring? I mean does the problem keep on cropping up everyday? At the same timings?

I have seen such strange occurrences being reported in the community too. It was related to some maintenance work being carried out in the exchange at specified timings. Have u tried he connection both in bridged mode and pppoe mode? Does the link light come up at the specified hours?

It looks like many of us are having problem in the net connections. May be for different reasons but I find some similarity between my problem and this one. Except for the last few days, I was also having problem in a specific period. I was experiencing it from 11:30-11:45 onwards till 8-9 pm in the evening.

I don't have much understanding so please don't mind if I suggest you to try and change DNS. May be that works.

The timing that both we mentioned here is important. It is generally regarded as office time. So may be some kind of activity is going on somewhere that is disrupting the distribution.

Frankly i am at loss of what is to be typed for such problems. The usual troubleshooting methods do not work. I would strongly recommend updating the firmware of the router if it is available. Since the existing configuration was working without any troubles all these days an abrupt problem may shed light into BSNL discrepancies.

Bitswap and SRA should be enabled.

The rest of the configurations are correct.

    Default Broadband Problems

Broadband Problems have many Common Reason for non Working
    1) Check the Tel Line First
    2) Check the Splitter
    3) Check the Earthing of Computer (0V to 5V)
    4) Check the Router Setting
    5) All Connection For Any Loose Contact
    6) Ping the Gateway to Check Local Connectivity
    7) Check All Respective LED's on ADSL Modem(Router) for Correct Opearation

How you selected this thread to respond ?
Exactly after 5 months of last post ?
@admin will not lock these threads, and thread starter might have
solved his problem ( unlikely he had no BB connection for 5 months )
and did not update the thread.

    Anyway your information/suggestions are useful.
May I suggest to click "New Posts" button on top
and respond to current threads , and later take up old threads,
still unsolved , or you feel you can add additional suggestions/info. .
