Your downstream SNR is very low. It should have a value of minimum 6 dB. It is surprising to note that inspite of having such low downstream attenuation factor u are getting a low SNR. Attenuation and SNR are related. High attenuation results in low SNR and vice versa.

Also try changing the ADSL modulation from ADSL2 to G.DMT

Please checkout your first posting. In it the operating mode is ADSL2. I am saying to set it to ADSL or G.DMT.

Uncheck the rest of the entries and keep the G.DMT only checked. Then u can force the modem to work in G.DMT mode.

I am surprised when u say u have frequent disconnections because your modem statistics are telling that u have a really stable connection.

Look through the various options present in the web interface of the modem, and u should be able to find ADSL Modulation tab in which u will be able to set the desired modulation from ADSL2+ to G.DMT

Or u can wait for someone who owns this modem to post screenshot of the page.

My SNR margin Downstream 27.3 Upstream 19.6 Attenuation Downstream 26 Upstream 13.9 my current modulation is D.GMT. If I enable to ADSL2+ there is constant disconnection but not when ADSL2. Can I enable ADSL2? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

BSNL/MTNL currently operates in G.DMT mode. But the default selected by the router is always ADSL2+. U need to manually change it to G.DMT for a much more stabler connection. The DSLAM is configured to be backward compatible with older formats. This is the reason why u are able to connect with DSLAM at ADSL2+/G.DMT. Yes, u can enable ADSL2+, but that is not going to bring forth any speed changes.

Since BSNL is operating in G.DMT i would suggest u stick with the same. The maximum benefit will be obtained when the server and the client are operating in the same mode. I would wait for other members to fill in.

    Its G.DMT not D.GMT
