Unhappy Internet signal LED keeps blinking only on powercut!!!

When electricity goes, on my UPS inverter the internet signal starts blinking soon after power goes off. After this the DSL signal goes down and again starts blinking for two times and gets stablized. Again the same cycle, without dialing (dataone username/password dialup) internet signal blinks. Same cycles goes on until main power is on.

Can any one help me out to stablize my net during power cut? I have checked with two to three inverters, same problem with all of them. Sometimes i have to work from home and there is at least 8 hours a day powercut at my place.

Please someone help me soon...

ADSL modems are highly sensitive to voltage fluctuations. Try giving the output of the inverter to a stabilizer and then connect the modem to the stabilizer.

well dude..i have checked with several inverters...right now i have got a pure sine wave inverter which gives me exact 220 V pure output...its a UPS/stabilizer Inverter, which itself works as a stabilizer for 220 V input for my PC (as said by my brother who manufactures inverters ).

Right now i have disconnected my power plug for inverter, so my pc is running on battery now... there is no disconnection now but when the entire areas electricity goes, internet led next to DSL lead starts blinking n i cant connect...

i think you need to stablise

as adsl modems are highly sensitive to sudden power ups and downs..

is your exchange/local RSU also connected to the same grid?
could be a problem at that end also.
have u verified with other users in your locality if they are also facing similar problems?

U havent mentioned about the steps taken by u to stabilize the voltage. Do not trust the stabilizer inbuilt into the inverter. Use a separate one. Or have u tried it using a voltage stabilizer with the same result?

Have u tried the modem by connecting another adapter with the same ratings?

Seems the problem with the adaptor. My suggestion is to try with a different adopter and check the outcome.
